Precision Electrical & Air has successfully completed the installation of dual air conditioning systems at a residential property in Tarragindi. This project involved the provision and installation of a Daikin ducted system on the upper level, along with a Daikin high-wall split system situated in the downstairs living room.

Precision Electrical & Air executed a comprehensive installation of the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted air conditioning system. The indoor unit was strategically placed within the ceiling space above the void, while the outdoor condenser was securely mounted on the front balcony wall, utilising rubber feet for enhanced stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were meticulously concealed within ductwork that exited from the ceiling space.

To facilitate efficient water drainage, two drainage systems were implemented, directing water from the indoor unit and safety tray to the external gutter. The installation process included careful placement of ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, ensuring seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was also installed in the upstairs hallway to enhance airflow within the system.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was established, linking the switchboard to the outdoor unit, which features an NHP isolation switch conveniently located next to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, providing intuitive temperature control directly connected to the zone motors.

In the downstairs living room, the Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was installed with precision. New ducting, interconnect cables, and copper pair coils were added to connect the indoor and outdoor units. The condenser was also mounted on rubber feet to ensure stability during operation.

A dedicated electrical circuit was created from the switchboard to the outdoor condenser, incorporating an NHP isolation switch for added safety. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and linked to the nearest stormwater downpipe, facilitating efficient drainage. Upon completion, the system underwent extensive commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
